The voltage level in the mains supply varies throughout the day. The Power Screw allows adjustment of the cutting system to ensure optimum power performance of the clipper at all time time. Each time the clipper is used folloe these instructions:

Using the power screw provided or a large screwdriver or coin edge, turn the Power Screw clockwise until the clipper becomes noisy.
Carefully turn the Power Screw anti-clockwise until you reach the point where the noise level subsides.
